  • Tribe: Against the Sox, lots of C.C. Ks mean lots of beers

Your pocketboot is a strong reason to root for C.C. Sabathia to strike out countless batters Tuesday night when the hefty lefty faces the White Sox in Chicago. No, we’re not telling you to bet on the game, although we know a guy who knows a guy if that’s your thing.

Every K by Indians pitchers Tuesday night will take $1 off lower reserved, upper box, mezzanine or bleacher tickets for the Dollar Dog Night game on June 10 against our Central Division foes from the fine state of Minnesota. Six strikeouts? $6 off. Ten strikeouts? $10 off. All the way down to $1 tickets, which is the hypothetical lowest price you could pay.

Between game’s end (10 minutes after, actually) and May 25, get your discount by entering the password “STRIKEOUT.” Oh yeah, in his last five outings, C.C. has tallied 11, 9, 4, 8, and 11 strikeouts. Good omen for a cheap ticket for June 10, which combined with the dollar dogs, leaves plenty o’ beer money. – Vince the Polack
