Friday: Break out your Armor All. Downtown Cleveland teems with fetishists for the next three days as more than 2,500 conventioneers troll the Wyndham Hotel for the seventh-annual Cleveland Leather Awareness Weekend, or CLAW, as it’s known to that guy who just stole your car-seat cover (sorry; he left his pants on the plane). After registration and a meet-and-greet, the action kicks into high gear with a 10 p.m. bar crawl on Lolly the Trolley to Cocktails Cleveland (9208 Detroit Avenue; 216-961-3115), Club Argos (2032 West 25th Street; 216-781-9191), Leather Stallion (2205 St. Clair Avenue; 216-589-8588), and the Shed (2901 Detroit Avenue; 216-771-7812) with the tour winding down at Flex bathhouse (2600 Hamilton Avenue; 216-812-3304). Saturday: Cleveland’s pro women’s football team, the Fusion, opens its eighth season against the Columbus Comets. The gals are coming off an impressive 8-3 record last season in the 35-team National Women’s Football Association, which also boasts squads from Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. Word is it’s decent football. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Collinwood High School, 1070 East 152nd Street. Tickets range from $5 to $10 by calling 419-271-4278.
Sunday: The Cleveland Women’s Orchestra marks its 73rd anniversary with a program of Schubert, Liszt, and Beethoven classics under the direction of Robert Cronquist. The curtain rises at 3:30 p.m. at Severance Hall, 11001 Euclid Avenue. Tickets run from $10 to $20 by calling 216-231-1111. Hundred dollars if you can pick out the cello player who also plays corner for the Fusion.

I did not agree with having Juanita Bynum on your show today. Her one incidence of domestic violence does not make her an expert in any way. She removed credibility from your show. Now I am even suspect of her DR. degree if she is so free to act as an expert.
